We have a fully equiped workshop and both David and Brian are Cytech level 2 qualified mechanics and wheelbuilders. Brian has passed Cytech level 3 in wheel building. We aim to turn all routine service work around very quickly and it is normally ok to just drop a bike in. As long as you can leave it with us for a couple of days that is fine. If you need it back the same day it is best to ring a check first.
Standard service price £25 (£35 for Electric bikes) .

The Service charge cover the cost of checking and adjustemt. It does not cover the cost of any replace parts or the fitting of replacement parts.
We do offer a service + cables option at £45 which includes the cost of new brake and gear cable and the fitting of them with the service
We can offer a full strip and rebuild service where we strip the bike back to the frame and fully check and rebuild it including rebuilding the hubs and the headset. The standard labour charge for this service is £90.00
We do make the effort to do the jobs others shops cant/dont want to do so if you have a problem like a stuck Bottom Bracket we have never been beaten yet.
For odd repairs just drop it off and we will fit it in the same day 99% of the time.
Below is a breakdown of standalone jobs and the fitting of various replacement parts. These prices are based on time to do the job against our normal labour charge of £30 per hour inc Vat. Hence a tube costs £5 to fit based on an approximate fit time of 10 Minuites. If we come across a broken or damaged/seized part that means the job takes alot longer we may charge an additional amount to cover this time though we always allow for twice the normal time before this is added. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
Brake / Gear Cable Fit £5.00
Tyre/tube Fit £5.00
Tyre/tube fit internal geared hub £15.00
Bottom Bracket £15.00
Brake Pads V type £6.00
Brake Pads Disc £6.00
Chain/Cassette or freewheel £6.00
We do ask that a nominal deposit payment is made to cover the initial work and assesment of a cycle which is non refundable. We have reluctantly introduced this but due to the amount of time cycles that are close to being beyond economical repair are assesed and then left for us to dispose without the time spent doing it and the disposal costs being paid for we have assessed we need to cover our costs.
