The adventure and Ridgeback Alloy balance bikes really are a great introduction to cycling. They have no pedals and are designed to be scooted along. With balance bikes children can start from and earlier age as they are easier to ride than a pedal cycle and are smaller. Very often a child who has used a balance bike needs stabilizers for only a few days on a pedal cycle.

We have chosen the Adventure range over the wooden bike of this type for a number of reasons which are as follows

1, They have a brake

2, The saddle is adjustable as is the handlebar height and a long seatpost is supplied for taller children

3, Being alloy they are very light and easy to control.

4, They have bearings in the headset and wheels and inflatable tyres to aid how well they ride over rough ground
